Clifford Photography

Hi, welcome to Nathan Clifford Photography, Here is a little bit about myself.

I have a passion for photography, and am skilled in taking your ideas and turning them into quality, creative images. Whether its a baby bump photo shoot, Family Package, or your pets, I will strive to produce unique beautiful pictures for you to cherish.

I am an approachable, friendly and easy going guy who will make you feel completely relaxed in front of the camera.

Specialising in bright, crisp and colourful photography, i can capture your loved ones in a way that will allow you to look back for years to come. Be it, your children, pets, or family and friends, don't let these moments fly past and miss them.

Although I am based in Hampshire I will be more than happy to travel to other areas.

For more information and to see some of my current and previous work, please take a look around.

I look forward to hearing from you :)

Lemurs on Flickr. Here is a couple more from the Monkey World day out. This area was really cool, and great for photographers as you go into the enclosure with the lemurs, therefore no fence or glass to shoot through (that is, if there was no rain, like there was that day). It was so cool to see them lined up like this; they then separated and went for feeding time, so I was glad to at least get this shot, although it’s not brilliant. I can’t wait for the good weather as we have decided to go back, this time for me to focus on the photography side of it 
Anyway, hope you enjoy.

Coins on Flickr.Wow, what’s it bin, 10 days? Sorry for my absence, to anyone who actually follows my pictures, which more than likely is no one. I like to think there is one of two out there, but anyway; here are two pictures I took today. Slowly but surely I am putting together my website, ready for when I feel I am good enough to start branching out. This pictures were taken so I can add a picture to my “prices” page and I didn’t want to use someone else’s photo . Not overly happy with it, so I imagin I will re-do or go for a different concept, but I thought I would put it up here to see what you guys think.
Just thought I would say, if any of you are local, I am looking for people to take pictures of, for different occasions and reason; rather than just, ‘yeah let’s take pictures’. This is because I want to be able to think on my feet and be ready for different situations.
Anyway, as always i look forward to hearing what you guys think , and am always happy to receive messages from you be it a question, or advice 

Memory Stick Again. on Flickr. Here it is again, had the set up out from yesterday, so I thought I would have another play, this time concentrating on lighting. It’s all just practice really I want to become competent and consistent with it, getting my pictures to have a more “professional”. (what’cha think?) I tell you what, I really do enjoy product photography.
Its funny, I seem to add new things to my wish list every day, as I’m sure all you do, but I know that the better I get with the stuff I have now, when the new gear comes, it will be a bonus and just add to my results. Anyway, that’s enough from me, please please, do tell me what you think, and any feedback would be amazing. Feel free to always message me anything photography, be it advice, or just general chat etc, :)
Lighting info, sb700 shot at a reflective umbrella, at 1/64, with a silver reflecter camera left.

PHP- Jack Howard, Look Three on Flickr. This is the third and final look from the shoot. I won’t blab about it all again, but I had so much fun… One thing I wouldn’t mind doing now is getting some behind the scenes shots to, as I know everyone loves to see what’s going on, on the other side of the camera.
I have now just sent the email letting him know they are all done, and I have posted the dvd, so I will let you know what he thinks of them all. I just can’t wait to get another person like this so shoot, so anyone out there, please let’s sort this out. Thank you for you feedback of this shoot, the next one in the processing line is a bit more dynamic, coming from a “one woman show” promotion shots.

PHP- Jack Howard on Flickr. Here is the other two pictures from the first look, unusually for me, im really chuffed at how they are coming… that’s not to say there is many things that can be improved, but I am really starting to see signs of improvement. But yeh, this is the first “look”, there is two more “looks” to come, all using techniques from the first hour of the dvd. One of the biggest things that I started to do was learn how to recognise which is someone’s good/bad side. This was emphasised when looking at the pictures after, but is definitely something I will take with me to the next shoot 
As always, please please pipe up with any words of advice. It means a lot, and has helped a lot so far.

PHP- Jack Howard on Flickr. So, again, sorry for my absence… went to Manchester to get away for the weekend and see family. Just so happened that was really lucky, as a friend wanted some headshots done, so I was able to put the first hour or so from the dvd into practice. Ive only managed to get an hour watched, but my word ever min is packing with tones of information. So much so that it will need a second viewing. I highly recommend it.
Anyway, so this s the first shot that I was happy with, from his first “look”. Again, like always I am always seeing flaws in what ive done, but I learnt so much from this one shoot. Nothing compares to learning while doing; you can sit, read and watch videos for ever, but getting out there and actually doing it is second to none. In all honesty, I’m actually happy with his shot. So I thought I would share it with you for you to dissect and tell me where i can improve…
