Clifford Photography

Hi there, My name is Nathan Clifford and i am pleased to meet you.

I absolutely have fallen in love with photography, and am loving it all. I am still finding my own style, but i love anything that expresses emotion and feeling, and generally perfecting my photography.

I still have a lot to learn but am enjoying every minuet of it.. And am looking to pick up as much as i can, so any ideas and advice feel free to get in touch.

I am using this as a way of getting my work out there and as a learning tool. I also extensively use Flickr, so please take a look there to and feel free to leave comments. :)

I shall look forward to hearing from you, and i hope you can enjoy my work.

Nikon Cloth *press L for better detail* on Flickr.Went out and got myself the lastolite triflector today. For a few sessions coming up in the studio where that would be perfect so I thought I would make the jump now and get it. I really can’t wait to use it now, and I know its going to be such a useful bit of kit.
Now, I know I cant be just me to be chuffed with this, so I thought I would ask here. When I made the purchase, the guy asked me if I was a Nikon or Cannon, so i said Nikon. The guy grabbed this Nikon cloth and threw it in for free. I know its not much, but its such a cool little thing that I know im going to use heeps.
Anyway, here it is, it’s a little bag, that the cloth is attached to inside. Please tell me im not the only geek to be made up with this sorta thing. it was only a quick shot, but feedback still wanted, is this a tad to dark, as in, not enough detail>
That’s all for now folks…strobe info: SB700 through a white umbrella at 1/4 power”

D Golding Design *feedback please* on Flickr. Here is a few of the picture that I did the other day in the studio… Not I love product photography, but this was tough. Firstly, knowing the clent is an amazing wood worker, I assumed that the lamps would be bigger and, well, made of wood. So, my original plans and ideas kinda flew out the window. (lesson 1, make sure you know exactly what u are going to photograph)
I ended up kind of having to wing it; here is a few that I came up with. These are a few different styles and please please, I would love as much feedback as possible here… as I learnt A LOT from the shoot, and any feedback would be amazing.

Its Hannah again! on Flickr.Yep, its Hannah again. Same as the Elmo one, this was just a very quick shot while waiting for a client. Hence why its not very good lol. I love being in a studio, I guess it’s because I am a bit of a control freak when it comes to lighting. I just can’t wait to spend a bit of time in the studio shooting people 
Anyway, feedback always welcome…or as I always say, encouraged…

Hannah and Elmo on Flickr.Hey all, did a photo shoot for a friend of the family. He designs exclusive bespoke furniture, really amazing stuff. (www.dgoldingdesign.com/). But wow was it tricky to light… Anyway, while we were waiting for the lamps to arrive, me and my partner/assistant had some fun in the studio.
It was the first time I used this studio and it was a lot of fun, with a lot of good gear to use, and lots of props; including this little furry one used here.
This was only a very very quick shot, set up quickly, but it made me smile and I thought I would share it.
Although it was set up quickly, it would still me amazing for some feedback…

Feedback on my website please :) :) on Flickr.Hey all. So, it’s back to my website again. Last time I did this, I got a good response with lots of good feedback… allowing me to make a lot of positive changes, to what I think is a much better website. It’s taken me a while, as it’s almost a complete rebuild, but I’m rather happy with it, but as always, I would love to hear what you think.
As a business, I’m not quite ready to go live, but I feel I’m getting there so I want my website to be good and ready for that. So yeh, it would be very very much appreciated if you could take just a couple of minute to tell me what you think, even the nitty gritty stuff, as I want it to look as professional, easy to use as possible  www.wix.com/nathanclifford/cliffordphotography
I look forward to hearing from you 

Lemurs on Flickr. Here is a couple more from the Monkey World day out. This area was really cool, and great for photographers as you go into the enclosure with the lemurs, therefore no fence or glass to shoot through (that is, if there was no rain, like there was that day). It was so cool to see them lined up like this; they then separated and went for feeding time, so I was glad to at least get this shot, although it’s not brilliant. I can’t wait for the good weather as we have decided to go back, this time for me to focus on the photography side of it 
Anyway, hope you enjoy.
